Who We Are
Based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Preferred Music Solutions is proud to offer a variety of outstanding options for musical entertainment including big band, jazz combo, swing band, brass ensemble, solo piano, ceremonial trumpet and more.  We specialize in providing excellent music for concerts, private parties, wedding ceremonies and receptions, banquets and dances as well as background music for any kind of occasion.  With so many offerings to choose from, we are confident that we can find the right music to fit your event.

Our Professionalism
In addition to the variety and high quality of our music, we also pride ourselves in our professionalism when working with clients.  We will work with you to ensure that the music at your event is in line with your needs and expectations.  As your event nears we will be in touch with you to discuss and address the details and always arrive early enough for sufficient set-up time and a punctual start for you.  We provide our own state-of-the-art sound equipment we’re able to modify to sound great both indoors and outdoors, and can also offer you the use of a wireless handheld microphone for any of your own announcements, speeches, etc.  When working with us you will receive the professional touch necessary to ensure your event runs smoothly.

Our Music

	The Blue River Big Band is a 14-piece ensemble with a powerful sound and wide range of musical styles.  This band is the perfect fit for public concerts, wedding receptions, dances, private parties and any event where a strong musical presence is required.

	Blue River Express is our most versatile group.  Options include an eight piece swing band including vocalist, a six piece jazz ensemble, smaller jazz combos or a jazz trio.  This group provides a very dynamic but intimate and personal jazz experience.

	Brass Cadre is a brass quartet consisting of two trumpets and two trombones.  This group specializes in providing classical music for weddings and other ceremonial events but also performs a wide variety of jazz and pop tunes for more casual occasions.

Our jazz duo consists of two instruments, with the optional additon of a vocalist, performing jazz standards along with pre-recorded rhythm tracks.  This is one of our most creative offerings and works extremely well for providing a geniune live jazz sound when space and budgets are tight.

Nothing announces the bride quite like the regal sound of a trumpet.  Our trumpet players, along with our keyboard accompanists, have an extensive repetiore of music to choose from and will work with you to ensure that your wedding has the musical atmosphere that you want.

Solo piano is perfect for dinner music, cocktail parties and other social events.  Whether you are looking for an elegant classical sound or something a little lighter, our piano players can add an extra touch of class to any occasion.
